Eid-ul Adha

Today is Eid-ul Adha. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, as an act of submission to God's command, before God then intervened, through his angel Jibra'il and informs him that his sacrifice has already been accepted. (Wikipedia).

As part of the Filipino cultural value of solidarity, the government declared this day as a national holiday to celebrate Eid-ul Adha with our Muslim brothers.
