Philippine Independence Day

Today is the 119th Anniversary of our Independence from the Spaniards as the Philippine National Flag was freely raised in Kawit, Cavite, the home of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Today is a holiday to celebrate our freedom and independence.

At this juncture, may we pray for those who are affected by the Marawi Clash. Let this issue be fixed in a peaceful way so that peace and order be restored in Mindanao.
