The
month of August is observed as the National Language Month (Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa) in the
Philippines. To celebrate this occasion, we have implemented some features with
Filipino touch for this month’s regular iCMS+. Introducing, iCMS+ Filipino.
Here are its features.
Filipino Flag Themes
Users
can select the theme for iCMS+ Filipino. Selection limits only to four colors:
Red, Blue, Yellow, and White (Pula, Asul,
Dilaw, Puti), the colors of the Philippine flag. For the first time, users
can change the font color of the system just like what users can do in iCMS+
Infinity.
Peso Power Formats
There
were several peso power formats implemented in our iCMS+ Filipino. All of these
formats can be activated by selecting the Peso sign in the “Currency to be
used” setting. The formats are the following:
*Filipino Translated
Words
Themes
selection words and calendar contents will be translated to Filipino once the currency
setting is set to Peso sign.
*Special Filipino
Calendar
The calendar is very special this
month because its wordings will be translated to Filipino by activating it in
the settings. Activating this calendar will feature a holiday to commemorate
the National Language Month of the Philippines.
Filipino Format
Cells
containing F will gain a special format. This format, for this time, is not
optional unlike in the previous month’s iCMS+.
August Events Pinoy
Formats
Special formats will be applied on August 21 and 28 to celebrate Ninoy Aquino Day and National Heroes' Day. A special format is also applied in the Filipino Calendar activated holiday.
