Other Features of iCMS 7N

Other Features:

Stronger Security and Anti-misuse Features
Starting from this version, modification of preset formula on the system is prohibited because columns with preset formula are no longer selectable. Therefore, users can only select cells where they can enter valid data. The second sheet is neither eligible to be selected nor to be modified.

The Anti-misuse feature is added to prevent users from ruining the prefixed content of the system and so that the system will function well. As seen on the picture above, Entering data with non numeric characters is now prohibited on the work area except on the Disclosures area.

Event entering negative values is prohibited since "-" is a non numeric character (as referred to the picture above). The "." indicating decimals is also prohibited because this is still a non numeric character and the system doesn't recognize centavos.
Another Anti-misuse function is found in the classifications columns but this feature will be discussed on my other posts.

The next Anti-misuse feature will be a great improvement for the "Budget Table" since making allotments for projects you want to realize become strict because you can no longer make projects that has an estimated value greater than your earnings.
In the picture above, given an Earnings Balance of 3,000.00, the fourth project having an estimated value of Php 1 is no longer permitted since I have recorded three projects which has a total of Php 3000 and adding Php 1 more will exceed my earnings.

Themes and Highlights
The system adapted the v6.0’s main feature: themes and highlights.
The theme for the CMS 7N would be NEON withAR ESSENCE font face for the celebration of NEW YEAR. This is why the system has a version extension of N.

The System will have the Neon Theme
The problem on v6.0’s highlights is now solved! Now, the row that contains the current date will be highlighted making navigation convenient to the user (especially now that it gets wider) without compromising the response speed of the system. Please do take note that the system will be based on your PC’s system time.
The highlights extends until the last cell of the row.
Improved Formats
Cells are now wider that can support values not exceeding 5 whole numbers (meaning up to 99,999). The support means that it can still show the value and not showing ‘########’. Users can still record amount greater than 99,999 but there’s a low possibility that the system will show the value.

Moreover, Weekly Average on Cash Count Section and the Average Rows at the bottom no longer show this error: “DIV/0!” instead it shows 0 or -. This feature applies dominantly on the fifth section.

Reduced Bottom Rows
The iCMS 7N's Bottom Rows (The Neon Violet Rows)

The rows after the Grand Total Row have been reduced to 2. Now, it only pertains to the 2 Averages. This solves the problem on the large gray areas on the system on the previous versions of CMS.

The CMS 6.0E Bottom Rows (The Dark Blue Rows)

The Descriptions about the average is found between the fourth and fifth sheets. Blank cells in the average row contain “N/A”.

System Details
The v6.1.1’s System detail is adapted in CMS 7N but it has been moved to the Grand Total Row on the fifth section of the system.

Seven Issues Solved:
To sum up the general positive effects of the upgrade, here are some of the issues solved.

1.       The CMS 7N fixed the reported slow performance of the system.
2.       Users will no longer record the projects purchased twice because of the inclusion of the budget table in the first sheet. The merging helps the user determine when he bought the item planned.
3.       Users will no longer have to select multiple sheet tabs to use other functions.
4.       Blank cells on the sheets have been reduced to maximize each sheet’s cells.
5.       The creation of Sections helps users find necessary and appropriate information based on what section he puts a valid data.
6.       Additional Concepts help users find more ways to manage their cash.
7.       Lesser format problems.
